Therapy Approach:

In the mental health field you aim to help individuals who are struggling with their thoughts, ideas or behaviors. To first assist an individual seeking mental health services,  you can  implement a number of therapeutic approaches. As a clinician, I aim to provide a healing and comfortable environment to allow my clients to grow, learn and overcome. Sessions will be constructed based on the individual and what therapy style is appropriate and beneficial to the client.

I have experience with incorporating strategies related to cognitive behavioral therapy.  I also incorporate positive psychology tactics as well as other approaches to assist and help individuals identify and overcome whatever factor it may be. As a Latina woman, highlighting the importance of mental health is my personal mission as mental health is often times viewed as a stigma in my culture. It is because of this, that  I aspire to complete my personal mission in each of the sessions with my clients.

I have experience  with working with: teens, adults, older adults, domestic violence victims, and psychiatric illnesses
