The MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) is designed for individuals who are healthcare workers, professionals, corporate employees, and students/faculty/staff at colleges/universities that live busy lifestyles that do not allow them the time to find a provider or want to start their mental health journey in a discreet fashion.
While searching on the internet is one way to find a provider, at MoodRx we believe that mental health is a personal and complex domain. When you see providers listed on the internet treating anxiety, depression, etc. and offering various modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc. how would you know that they are the right provider for you? It may also be overwhelming to try and understand the different provider qualifications and approaches without having a licensed provider there to help you. With MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN), MoodRx ensures that an actual provider consults with you about your needs and then determines the right and appropriate referral.

With the help of our free self-assessments as well as the free 15 minute consultation with a licensed MTN Clinician, we are able to scan through our list of MTN Providers and choose the one that caters to your needs and provides the best help specifically for you.
In order to use the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN), you first need to sign up for MoodRx.com. Once you have done this and successfully logged in, you can begin taking the self-assessments in your My Products page. After you have taken your assessments, you will then click on the button at the bottom of the assessment that says, My MoodRx Dashboard. This will take you to your MoodRx dashboard page where you can see your assessment trends. From here, you can find a Request Referral button at the bottom of each chart. Simply click the button and hit submit. Once MoodRx receives your request, we will reach out to you within 48-72 hours to set up a consultation time.
The MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) offers free referrals as well as a free initial 15 minute consultation, however, you will pay for your sessions at the following rates:
One hour session - $120 (USD)
You can 100% use the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) if you have never been to therapy before. MoodRx understands that it can be difficult to find providers that are located in your area that can meet all of your personal needs on your own for the first time, and we want the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) to be user-friendly as well as provide an easier and less stressful process for this. By taking your self-assessments and your intake form and discussing your needs during the consultation, MoodRx will be able to help provide you with a provider that best fits your needs!
It is perfectly ok to change a provider if you are not satisfied with the provider assigned to you. Simply contact MoodRx and request the change. Someone will call you to discuss your concerns and recommend a new provider based on your needs and provider availability.
We are continuously hiring MTN providers across The United States. During the referral process, we will discuss your needs and place you with the appropriate MTN Provider. If there is no MTN Provider available for your state, you may still engage with out-of-state licensed mental health providers as a coaching patient.
The MTN does not take insurance at this time.

Just by joining MoodRx, you will also receive a free directory listing, and once you have become a MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider, MoodRx will use your listing to refer patients and clients to you.
In order to be a MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed provider from a U.S state, you must physically reside in the United States, and you will carry a valid professional liability insurance.
A MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider is contracted with MoodRx as a 1099 contractor and can choose their workload based on their availability. For example, you may see as little as 1 client or as many as 30 clients per week.
Compensation is based on the following rates for MTN Providers:
One hour session - $75 (USD)
This includes the free use of the MoodRx practice management platform for all referral patients. If you see 10 or more MTN referral patients a month, the appointment charges of $0.50/appointment (USD) will be waived for your personal practice.
Yes! MoodRx allows the option for providers to have and be in multiple practices all with one login. You can select which practice you would like to use by clicking on the preferred practice in your profile's dropdown menu.
In order to join the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) as a provider, you will first need to sign-up for MoodRx.com as a licensed mental health provider. During the registration process, you will see a checkbox at the bottom of the 2nd step that states that you would like to join the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN). Simply select the checkbox and your information will be sent to MoodRx, and someone will reach out to you as soon as your request is processed.
Once you have been selected to be a MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider and login, you will see the list of all of the patients that have been assigned to you. You can then begin scheduling appointments, messaging, taking session notes, billing, etc. with these patients all within the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) practice.
Yes! We provider training videos as well as hold weekly video conference training sessions where you can speak with MoodRx personnel live. You will be scheduled in the video conferences once you have joined the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN).
No, MoodRx is a practice management platform available to all providers. You may use MoodRx to just run your own practice, a group practice, or multiple practices. You may also choose to join MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) to get extra client referrals, but participation in MTN is not required to use MoodRx as a comprehensive practice management tool that provides scheduling, notes, messaging, billing, intern management, practice management, create AI generated content, and the ability to add admins, practice providers, and interns.
Yes, you can monitor your own mental health by taking the free self-assessments and viewing them on your MoodRx dashboard to see your mental health trends.
Students may use MoodRx resources for free online self-assessment, free consultation with a licensed therapist to map their mental health journey, and get therapy from a licensed therapist online.
