Therapy Approach:
Are you tired of feeling sick and tired? Do you feel like everyday things are so much harder to do? Are you struggling just to make it through the day? Are you dealing with a major life change? Have you avoided therapy due to the stigma behind getting help?
I am passionate about helping others overcome obstacles that prevent them from living the life they want. I am trained to help people struggling with anxiety, depression, life changes, trauma recovery including PTSD, and inner child healing work. I utilize a mix of CBT, DBT, EMDR, somatic-informed therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
For depression and anxiety, I would normally work with you for 8 sessions with a mix of treatment methods primarily using cognitive behavioral therapy. Other therapies may be included according to your needs which we will discuss together. Most clients begin to see improvement of symptoms within the first 4 sessions and continued improvement thereafter.
