Therapy Approach:

Life is too short to be controlled by anxiety, depression, past traumas, or unsatisfying relationships. Let's get you moving in the right direction and help you find peace, control, and clarity. I can help you build a life that you feel excited to wake up to each morning. Together, we will create a plan to move you toward your goals, help you break free from the burdens that you carry, and cultivate a life of meaning and purpose. I offer a supportive space that incorporates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and couples counseling. Each of these modalities provide a way of integrating the mind-body connection and working through emotions, thought patterns, and experiences. Here, you will be free to share your concerns, fears, and insecurities while acquiring the necessary tools to propel yourself forward and live your best life.

Effective therapy must begin with increasing awareness of how an individual's experiences, knowledge, beliefs, personality characteristics, expectations, influences, and past traumas have played a role in their development. When we are confronted with the hard truth that our past has led us to thinking and behaving in ways that no longer serve us, we can begin the process of change. Relationally trained, I strive to create a healing connection that can be transferred outside of the therapy room into your other relationships. I like to focus our work in 3 areas: relationship to yourself, others, & the world. We will work to make connections between your past and present experiences to increase awareness of how we got here and where we would like to go in the future. My hope is that clients leave session with a different perspective and a brighter outlook on their future. I can't wait to help you on your journey!
